Teaching your young horse to pick up his feet safely, quietly and confidently.
This was a recent question I received:
“I have a brumby that doesn’t like picking his hind feet up for trimming and has been hurt in the past from a farrier and is now very evasive and just keeps turning in circles to avoid his feet getting trimmed.
Do you have any techniques to help him overcome his sensitivity and to willingly pick up his hind feet.
